How do these fireplaces work?
The handling is absolutely easy:
A ceramic imitation of a wooden log lies in the metal insert. It looks so real that were are often asked, if it would not catch fire?
Into this log imitation up to three small tins or a fire box are placed. These tins get filled with the special fuel.
The fuel can be lighted with a fireplace lighter and there it is, the open flame and cosy heat for you to enjoy.
The fireplace is burning, depending on the flame size and model, approximately 2.5 hours to 7 hours with one liter of fuel (ECOFLAM).
In a traditional fireplace, a significant portion of heat is lost through the chimney. In contrast, the warmth of a ethanol fireplace are released to 100% into the room.
